I'm=20= not aware of any other program that does, but if you can do everything within=20 Audacity, that should work. > Then should I go for VST plugins? You should be able to create a generator just by taking no inputs and=20 just generating outputs; Audacity will then put it in the "Generate" menu. > When it comes to Nyquist plugins, I've read the 3-page Nyquist manual=20= > on the > audacity site (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/nyquist) and the linked > documentation by the way to the "official" site. Sorry, no tick boxes supported yet. :( I think that everything you=20 want to do (sine sweeps, convolution, etc.) can be done within Nyquist, but if=20= you want to know for sure, you should ask Roger Dannenberg (Nyquist's author). =20= I'd recommend that you download the standalone version of Nyquist if you=20 want to try it; one you get a real Nyquist program running to do what you want=20= I can help you turn it into an Audacity plug-in if that's all that's left. > Is there's a way for any of the 3 to do convolution from on audacity=20= > track to > another? Or should it be solved by the clipboard? The VST and LADSPA interfaces are not set up to support this. It could=20= be done in Nyquist; in Nyquist you could select two tracks and have it=20 interpret the first one as the source audio and the second one as the track to be convolved. - Dominic > Can you help me to sort all this confusion? > > Thanks, > Christian Frisson > > (My apologies for triple-posting by the way...
