Sorry to have to repost but I had no replies to my original mail.
I've suffered freezes in 1.1.1 and 1.1.0, using Debian Linux, with
2.4.18 kernel. This is during playback of large .wav files (800MB). I
have opened the file, created a label track and begun playback which
seems to last approximately five minutes before it crashes. Killing the
process doesn't solve the problem, as it seems unable to access
/dev/dsp-gives Host Error, then Error Opening Audio Device. A reboot
ps axu shows that the Audacity process is still running, although not
using significant CPU or MEM.
Is there any way I can determine the cause of this crash?
