Using Win XP Pro.
Here's my problem. I've installed Audacity 1.0.0 and Lame_enc.dll.
I located Lame_enc.dll in Audacity as per the instructions.
I open a .mp3 audio file.
I cut the beginning of the file becose there is a blank spot.
I select with the selection tool the last part of the audio file and
apply a Effect / Fade Out.
I play my new audio .mp3 file and it's OK.
I export to MP3.
Were is my new file now ? (not located in the Audacity Directory.
I play the original file and the changes (cut and Fade Out) does not
apply to the file.
I want to know if I follow the right procedure
I want to know if by default the new file should be located in the same
directory then the original file
or suppose to be located (once saved) in the Audacity Directory.
Why did my changes have not been applied to my new MP# file ?
