The German interface translation of Sliding Time Scale / Pitch Shift
is "Geschwindigkeit gleitend ändern" but as has been reported
on the Forum this ignores the Pitch change part of the
effect. So users who want to change pitch may miss using this
Edgar Franke suggests changing this string to
"Tempo/Tonhöhe gleitend ändern..." . This is then the same
as the window title of the effect. Is this agreeable to you?
It could be "Geschwindigkeit/Tonhöhe gleitend ändern" instead,
though this is long. We use "Geschwindigkeit" in the translation
of "Change Speed" , but "Tempo" in the translation of "Change
Tempo", so "Tempo/Tonhöhe gleitend ändern..." seems more
consistent for the Time Scale effect for that reason too.
However there are other inconsistencies for example "Change
Speed, affecting both Tempo and Pitch" is translated as
"Geschwindigkeit ändern (Tonhöhe und Geschwindigkeit)" so
"Geschwindigkeit there means both "Speed" and "Tempo".
But the translation of "Tempo" in "Change Pitch without
Changing Tempo" is "Laufzeit" .
Also there are places where "Pitch" is left untranslated rather
than translated as "Tonhöhe".
