I've just started working in a paid project that
incorporates distribution and support of opensource
software in some russian schools.
Audacity was chosen for "The Bundle" :) among The Gimp,
OpenOffice.org etc because of its stability, features
I'm about to finish translation of online help. The
next step will User guide. Existing User guide,
available in CVS and at the web-site is partly outdated
and seems to be not complete.
As I'm free to write my part of specification of
requirementsfor this project (don't know for Europe,
Australia and USA, but here clients do not write it in
most cases), I'd like to know your opinion, whether I
should just translate existing User guide, or reuse it
partly or just do my own from scratch.
Currently, I think that reusage will be the most
appropriate way to go. If there is anyone working at
update or rewriting/translating existing User guide,
please let me know. I would appreciate collaboration
