Greetings Audacity Developers,
I would like to thank all of you for the hard work you have put into
developing the Audacity software. It is an excellent program. I am a
Technology Trainer & Consultant for Sweet Briar College. Under my
recommendation, our college has chosen to provide support for students,
faculty and staff who wish to edit audio with Audacity. I have developed a
tutorial on some of the basic uses of Audacity. It is available as a
downloadable Adobe PDF file at:
If you think this tutorial will be useful to others, you may certainly post it
on your website. All I ask is that you give credit to myself and my
institution for creating the tutorial. I truly hope that this material will
help others learn to use the wonderful program you have developed. Please
feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Thank you for your time.

This looks like a great tutorial! - a lot of people ask about simple
instructions, and we havn't really had this sort of step by step guide
available before. Thanks a lot for making it available.

I'm sure this ought to be linked from out tutorials page
(http://audacity.sourceforge.net/tutorials.php) - many people will find it
a great help.
One other snippet of information to pass on - as well as
audacity has a wiki site (user-editable documentation) at
which your users may find useful.
