| how is to equalize a simple stereo double wav-diagramm ??
Select the track and click Effect > Equalization. You can equalise the two
channels differently if required by splitting the stereo track (click on the
downward pointing arrow in the track panel (above the mute/solo buttons)
and click "Split Stereo Track". Drag the Equaliser out to get finer control.
The forthcoming versions of Audacity will have a greatly improved Equaliser
that has an additional multi-band graphic display with sliders. The last used curve
is now remembered after close and reopening; also a custom curve can be saved
as a preset and recalled. The sliders give a display of the input value if you hover
your mouse over them.
If you are on Windows you can try the new equaliser now. Install the Beta 1.3.0
from our download page then unzip this pre-release of 1.3.1
into the folder you installed 1.3.0 into and launch the .exe for 1.3.1.
If you wish to subscribe to receive news of new Audacity
versions you could do so at the bottom of this page
