I've just started using 1.2.0 to digitize analog cassette recordings of =
many songs I've written over the years. I record using Audacity, then =
export to wav for storing on my PC. I'm using a good functioning =
boombox that has clear sound coming from its speakers. It has stereo =
output jacks that I'm connecting with a cable that mults into mono for =
plugging into the PC. Just yesterday I recorded about 20 songs, some of =
which transferred fine while others have a crackling noise that persists =
throughout the whole song.
Do you know if this is an Audacity problem? I monitor the source audio =
with headphones plugged into the back of my PC, and the audio is clear =
as the recording is made. It's just the subsequent playback that has =
