Error in screenshot "The Audacity Window
": "As you can see by the graphics above, the time shift tool is selected." The toolbar shows the selection tool is selected.
Awkward wording: "If you'd like to get straight playing an imported file or recording something, you can skip this section and come back later." Suggestion for improvement: "If you'd like to get right to playing, importing or recording something, feel free to skip this section and come back later."
Question: "In Cool Edit an EARLY REFLECTIONS parameter doesn't exist. In Soundforge however there are a few ER times to choose from. We choose whatever is closest to 15 ms. Freeverb unfortunatly does not have an Early Reflections feature." Why are you telling me about other programs? I'm not against it, I just wonder how this applies to Audicity. As a beginner with Audicity I am confused by the reason for this. As I read further I see that Freeverb is a plugin that is included with Audicity. It would be helpful if you included this information before the paragraph above. (I know Cool Edit and SoundForge are not plugins but are audio editing software. Do you talk about these because their plugins will work with Audicity?)

Good stuff. Anyone going to include this ? I'm not set up for CVS access at
I say implement all his suggestions as well. They make sense.
