This cuts both ways - sound drivers aren't my problem. Whilst I have heard
of other people having crashes when stopping recording, in at least some
cases they went away on sound driver upgrades. However the number does beg
the question what causes them in the first place, as other applications
seem not to. I don't really know enough about the audio I/O layer in
windows to comment.
