Hmm, I wonder if this has to do with your recording preferences? I was having problems with recording stalling and getting distorted audio on my recordings until I reinstalled and reset my preferences.
I love using Audacity for exporting files as mp3s. But as far as recording vocals, I'm having trouble getting it right. The first tract is fine. It's when I record subsequent tracts that the sound is not natural. Right now I'm using a pair of Sony headphones that have a recording wand. Is there a way to get my vocal sounding more like they are in the same room. Every tract I add, the sound becomes more distorted.
