Me along with my co-researchers are at present exploring soft. visualization tools and frameworks.
It would be great if we could read few technical details of how exactly Tulip work. It could be a documentation / block diagram / API details etc.
Any help would be much appreciated. We are in particular interested to see how tulip fits into software comprehension.
Thanks in advance.
You can find docs on the website (www.tulip-software.org)
Click on framework, developper API …
Software comprehension (you mean reverse engeneering ?), we have already tested to import entire doxygen graphs of our project (Tulip of course) and it works well. For visualization of call graph it is also ok. If you want to see uml diagrams, we offer an easy way to build layout plugin for Tulip based on OGDF layout (There is nice UML diagram generator in that library).
