I tried jfli-abcl, wrote my own javaclass package, and I've settled on invoke.lisp by Alan Ruttenberg <ala...@gm...>. It doesn't use CLOS, yet it is completely intuitive and quick to use. Search these archives for invoke.lisp . The main deficit I've found with it is that it doesn't search for raw class files, it can only detect files in jars, and a minor niggle is that it isn't in its own package. -Luke On 9/4/06, Alex Mizrahi <kil...@ne...> wrote: > (message (Hello 'Peter) > (you :wrote :on '(Sun, 3 Sep 2006 10:18:03 -0700)) > ( > > PG> Do you have a source file named "abcl.lisp"? > > i don't have abcl.lisp (at least i'm not aware of). > > i've noticed that numbers after abcl prefix tend to increase over time -- it > was about 2000 at start, now it's aroung 60000, so looks like something > dynamically compiles functions. maybe abcl is prefix for a functions > compiled on-fly? > > it's really interesting who and why does this. my code does not. i use LML2 > (XHTML Generator), SLIME (SWANK) and JFLI-ABCL libraries. > most suspictious one is JFLI-ABCL. > i've noticed that my app generates quite a lot of garbage, and there is > resource leak so over time mem consumption increases, so it would be very > interesting to know what does happen.. > > (by the way, i'm not able to get multithreaded bug anymore..) > > ) > (With-best-regards '(Alex Mizrahi) :aka 'killer_storm) > "People who lust for the Feel of keys on their fingertips (c) Inity") > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Using Tomcat but need to do more? First, all the classes in all the jars in the classpath have been collected. For each class a.b.C.d, we have recorded that b.c.d, b.C.d, C.d, c.d, and d potentially refer to this class. --- sounds scarry, as well as dynamic dispatch. ABCL is too bloated/slow and produces too much garbage as for me, but at least it's tolerable, but i'm afraid it won't be tolerable if i use that invoke. ) (With-best-regards '(Alex Mizrahi) :aka 'killer_storm) "People who lust for the Feel of keys on their fingertips (c) Inity") |
