This morning's 0.16.4+ development snapshot is up:
http://armedbear.org/j.zip (source and documentation)
http://armedbear.org/j-jar.zip (just j.jar)
This snapshot updates j's undocumented Perforce support, which has
been almost entirely neglected for the past year or so. (Oddly enough
everything still worked for the most part.)
The relevant commands are p4Add, p4Edit, p4Diff, p4DiffDir, p4Revert
and p4Submit, which all pretty much do what their names suggest.
I've also added a generic wrapper command, p4, which requires an
argument and passes its command line through to the p4 command line
client, and then displays the output (if any) of that command in a
transient output buffer.
p4 help submit
"p4 submit" and "p4 client" are not supported by the generic wrapper,
since in most cases these commands need to invoke the user's editor.
Use "p4Submit" rather than "p4 submit"; I'll be adding a "p4Client"
command in the near future that will wrap "p4 client" safely.
J's old Perforce commands currently all run in the foreground thread,
which ain't right. I'll fix that soon too.
Thanks for your support.
