Hi, I am trying to port armboot to my integrator / 920 board. I actualy got
some things running, but have some questions:
- the serial IO seems to be glitchy. ie: I have to enter 8 characters before
seeing anything returned back to me. I have the fifo turned on, and am
using the ambit serial interface on the board. Anyone have any ideas how I
might be able to fix this?
- What is being done with the development of this tool. I found that the
code layout is not qute right for the separation of CPU / Mainboard
combinations. ie: using a 920 processor, the code has specific board support
for the serial devices on an SA1x0 board.
- are there any good docs on writing assembly code, or rather any code for a
simple application running from flash. ie: very basic 'hello world' or
just to flash an LED. I'd like to understand more on getting gcc to deal
with the correct code layout.
I am currently using the tar'd files, not the CVS version.
