Yes, I am concerned about copyrights. I am concerned that anyday of the week a corporation could take our ideas for its own and turn them into a profit machine. We have done the work, more or less, and we deserve to see the game become a reality without the threat of a corporation taking the "IDEA" of what we are doing. I am not as concerned about the code, but more about the ideas. A game based on our ideas may be more valuable to a company that is willing to pay coders to start off with code from scratch. We are creating a "way" of doing things and that is important. I would like to know that our ideas will remain free, but not free to anyone to use that wants to make money off of them. I would like every aspect of the game to be free, but not to corporations to make profit. What in the GPL prevents a corporation from stealing our most priced possessions? What keeps our ideas free, but prevents others from profitting from them? For now I will continue to work on the ideas we have already discussed and will continue to produce, but I am not will to broadcast the ideas so that companies can profit. Is there a legal expert attached to sourceforge that can help, or are we on our own(are we on our own or are the corporations listening already?)? I would like to add one statement, all material that I have submitted to this list is to be considered under joint ownership as a copyright I will split its owership with any INDIVIDUAL that has submitted ideas to the list(because you have all influenced what I have written), but those INDIVIDUALS must acknowledge singular ownership and not forfeit/give the ownership to another individual or corporation. I also concede that anything that I have submitted to the group shall be handled as the leader (Miguel Angel Blanch Lardin) deems fitting. I will continue to work on the ideas of the group and interact with the group, but the work will remain on my computer. I consider anything that I produce related to the idea of a fantasy game the property of the Arianne group, but I am concerned and until I know that it is safe to be broadcast then it will stay with me.
