umm, Is it a problem?
I see it is not a feature, but keeping on old one is not good IMO.
I think that we should always go to support the latest versions of the
libraries we use...
What Kyra's Author say about this?

I think it is the other way around:
We can not stick forever with a certain version, because some day the=20
maintainer(s) of the library will not support the version we use.
