Hi, aria2 is my favorite download manager, I frequently use it to download hundreds of sequentially numbered files, like this:

aria2c -Z -P http://host/image[000-100].png

when doing so, I find an option to show only the ERR and INPR files (i.e. don't show the files with status OK) in the Download Results output would be very useful, so the user can easily check was there anything wrong in the downloading progress.
Also, I think it would be nice to show the numbers of OK, ERR and INPR files in the end of the Download Results, for example:

Download Results:
gid|stat|path/URI
...
80 files OK. 15 files ERR. 5 files INPR.

These are the features I think would be useful, thanks.

p.s. I think there is a way to show only the ERR and INPR files in the Download Results output using pipe, but as a Unix newbie, I don't know exactly how, any suggestions would be helpful, thanks.

For the large number of downloads, I think it is a good idea to show only ERR and INPR, it is more readable and noticeable to the error.
I also agree showing the number of OK, ERR, INPR is good idea.

Currently, aria2c exists non zero status if there are ERR or INPR. So if you make a shell script and catch the status code, then you can know the whole downloads complete or not.

Hi, Mr. Tujikawa. I am the originator of this post, thanks for the reply, the exit status check is very helpful.

Also, I'm not sure about this, but it seems that if there are ERR and INPR files, aria2c will print these lines:

"aria 2 will resume download if the transfer is restarted."
"If there are any errors, then see the log file. See '-l' option in help/man page for details."

at the end of the Download Results. Is this a valid method to check whether the whole download is completed or not, thank you very much.

Yes. aria2 outputs above message only when there are unfinished requests.
