I've had serious problems with Ares about a conflict with a security feature called DEP (data execution prevention) in windows 7. Ares just couldn't open. It took me a long time to find out what it was about. I even tried suicide.
This is a windows problem, but it would be nice if the next release of Ares came with a fix to this situation, after all, we can't live without Ares!
