Yep. The space after the ` is supposed to be a 0x7F (DEL) character
instead of a space as those stations are actually at 9 degrees W. You
will also see some German stations in the middle of Asiatic Russia for
the same reason (except they are actually at 9 degrees E). This is
caused by the gating IGate (or attached TNC) converting DEL characters
to spaces. APRS+SA, by the way, passes 0x7F characters correctly to the
