there is some problem with rendering images. after
one or two successful renders apo fails to complete
or finish renders, iow, it hangs and this seems to
happen on renders larger than 800x, ie 1024x 768. i'm
sorry this is phrased a bit vaguely, i've no idea
what the actual problem is or how to phrase it
properly except that it is quite a consistent problem
and i have read on deviant art that others are also
experiencing problems with the rendering of larger
images.

not sure how much support you will get here. you may want to
    try http://woosie.net/fracfan/index.php the developers and
    beta testers hang out there.

detailed directions on how to reproduce this error would
also be helpful in diagnosing the problem.

Hi, I've found a similar problem when executing a rendering script. When setting the multithreading OFF, the crash did not occur anymore.
Can you verify the multithreading setting via the 'options' menu? And try your rendering with this setting OFF?

    kind regards,

    Ward
