For one fractal I've been working on, Apophysis
consistently renders the wrong portion of the image
upon rendering to disk (or perhaps the error is in all
of the previews but not upon rendering to disk?). Zoom,
x and y translations and rotations have all been used
on this fractal and the master scale is at a
non-default value. An image of the fractal in the
editor plus two different rendered to disk versions is
here: http://img133.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dim8uf.png
The actual file is attached.

(The images were both rendered at 1600x1600 with memory
limiting set to 630Mb. This may be a different error
(or not an error at all), but it said it would need
1250Mb to render, but with the limit set 630Mb it uses
4 slices)

A fractal that triggers the error

I've been trying to pinpoint this problem for days. All I
have figured out exactly is that if 203c can generate it
(yes there are ways to make it run after 'expiration') it
can be done correctly in 204beta with memory limiting. If
    203c doesn't like it, there'll be problems.

I've had this problem too. I re-size the main screen as a
cheap way of zooming to a particular area of the flame
without it costing anything in render time (i.e., stetch
the screen to widescreen...). Renders are fine like this
until it needs to be stripped due to lack of RAM. Then the
picture is off-centre. Definitely the "limit memory usage"
    function doesn't like screen stretching...
