We should base the next aperture version on the sesame version we are using at the moment.
actually, Aperture does not care 1 bit as it uses RDF2Go.

Aperture never sees Sesame, it does not matter which version we use, so we use an "good old version" that is stable and easy to get through CQ.

It was Daniel.Stucky@empolis.com who said at the right time 10.02.2009 11:33 the following words:
It's eclipse talk :-)

A CQ is a Contribution Questionnaire, (see http://www.eclipse.org/legal/ and http://www.eclipse.org/legal/EclipseLegalProcessPoster.pdf for details). We need to do one for each 3rd party library we use. As this usually takes some time, we would like to submit the CQ for Sesame as soon as possible. Also we can only submit CQs for released versions of 3rd party components, no nightly builds, snapshots and so on.

So it would be great if you could base the next aperture release on an already existing Sesame release.

Bye,
Daniel

Betreff: Re: [Aperture-devel] What Sesame version for next release

Hi Daniel,

as we have to create a CQ for the usage of sesame in Smila we need to
know what version to use.

What's a CQ?

Do you plan to do the next release of the "bundelized" aperture with

the

currently used version of Sesame (2.2.3) or a newer version ?

I'm currently working with Sesame 2.3.0 (snapshots). My intent is to
make that version as OSGi-friendly as possible. What that means exactly
is yet to be determined, though :)

Cheers,

Herko
