Hello,

Is there any version of Python installed on your Ubuntu box? You can test it through the following command:

# python --version

APBS is mostly written in object oriented C, it is OK to install APBS without Python. However, PDB2PQR definitely requires Python installation.

Thanks,

Yong

Dear all
I've successfully installed apbs on my ubuntu PC. However could not install pdb2pqr on the same computer with the error:
could not find "Python.h".
I known that both apbs and pdb2pqr use Python platform. Why is it success in apbs installing but not for pdb2pqr.
Thank You for any help
