I would say it's still WIP. That said, with the exception of a small patch
to the GCC linker class, it works pretty much out of the box.
The patch to the linker class adds support for "-bundle", "-framework", and
"-F" as arguments that get sent through the gcc front end without being
prefixed with "-Wl,". We don't any of the other fancy optons locally, so we
haven't tested support for them. I was planning on something fancier, but
this minimal level of support seems to be all we need.
Most of the Mac-specific build stuff isn't related to compiling or linking
(eg. building app bundles, kexts, or frameworks) and can be accomplished with
ant tools out of the box. I guess a how-to is really the missing piece.
I'll see if I can find time to clean up my linker patch and post it. With
that patch (and others we've submitted but are still pending, hint hint), we
are building and have released commercial software on Mac OS X 10.2.
