No

affects amSynth 1.0.0 AND CVS

when trying to control it from rosegarden4, i hear a
few "clicks!" instead of the notes out of some presets
(like "Derren 1"), but nothing very clear or
synth-sounding... :( it does get higher like the notes
i'm trying to do though... )

i tried to erase my amSynthrc file to create a default
new one and got the same result...

.....

i tried to boost the "sustain" in rosegarden, but got
the same... tweaking the D in amsynth didn't change
anything...

.....

well... a very few presets _do_ sound..
but yes, they're all different!

....

i can use my midi-keyboard.... to get the same clickety
sounds i heard through rosegarden!!!

sounds to me like the oscillators are failing, and the
'click' is just the resonating filter, explaining why
some presets make a sound and other dont.

    you won't believe me :

i have to touch once the modulation wheel of my midi
    keyboard and *wham!* it
    magically begins to produce sound!

    ...just an uninitialised variable!! VoiceBoard::mPitchBend

Now we should probably go through and make sure all members
are initialised. GCC can't do this though, luckily MSVC++
    can! :-O
