Hello list, I am not very familiar with amavisd-new, and I set it up almost a year ago so I'm rusty on everything. Anyways, my main question/ concern is this: I am currently maintaining a very small mail server... maybe 5 users max. However, I noticed the other day that the 'msg' table in the amavis mysql db has 1.2 *million* messages all marked spam. Does amavis/spamassassin keep all spam messages in the database for reference when scanning new mail? Or am I missing a maintenance script or something that should be deleting old messages, etc. I'm attempting to redo my entire mail server and will be studying amavis/spamassassin/clamav a bit closer this time... but any help is appreciated. Package Version Debian Sarge 3.1 amavisd-new 20030616p10-5 postfix 2.1.5-9 clamav 0.85.1-2 mysql-server 4.0.24-10 spamassassin 3.0.3-2 Thank you so much BJ |
