I have successfuly used Alzabo in numerous projects, but yet to figure out
how to use alzabo table definitions as a generic template.
Im many cases, I am forced to use multiple tables with an identical
structure that either reside on different hosts/databases or within the
same database. For example, I'd have a table defining some business units
and activity table(s) defining some sort of generic activity for each
business unit. Activity tables are generaly very large, which prevents me
from using a single table for storing the data.
I would like to use alzabo to define a generic table, associate standard
methods that apply to that type of tables and use the resulting library to
interact with any individual table by changing a few thing here and there
(i.e. the host/database where the table may reside and the table's name ).
Did anyone ever succeed in doing this in the past, or maybe have
sufficient knowlege of the sources to point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance.
