#11 dies when opening large mail spool

program dies with no warning or output when opening large mail spools. Specifically those with more then 238 messages in them.

I ran a strace on it and this is the tail end of the output.

    ok, first, I know that that interpretation of why it is crashing is false. I have opened folders with way over a
    thousand messages. I suspect that the probablem is related to some irregularity in your 239th message... so
    if you delete that message, I bet you can get the whole folder. (or until you get to some other wierd
    message)

    if you can figgure out what is wierd about the message let us know and we will fix that bug....
