When you unbzip2'ed them, you got the source directories. Building them is pretty easy if you have compilation tools installed (gcc, automake, etc.). Just go into each directory (for instance, alsa-driver-1.0.9b) and type "./configure && make && make install". In the case of alsa-driver, you could add the configure option --with-cards=3Ddrivername to compile only the driver for your card, if you know it. In your case, I'd suggest suffering through the whole compile. -Andy |
