Hi, i've got an Terratec DMX 6Fire since a few days. So far it works with Alsa ( alsamIxer says 1.0.3) and the ice1712 driver. But there are some problems with recording: The Card has several inputs (Digital, Line in, Phono..) but the driver handles these inputs as multitrack inputs, so I only can record from the line-in jack when I start at least a 6-Channel recording ( with audacity ) with the line-in signal appearing on Channel 5&6. This works for Audacity but other apps like Skype or other "simple" recording apps will be left out. In fact, i only need the "Line-in" input since there is an Audio-mixer connected to it managing all my input devices. So is it possible to map Channel 5&6 to 0&1 or to another device, let's say /dev/linein? any help would be appreciated, thanks, Bjoern |
