Hi Pavel, You do not write which alsa version you use. I use CVS from 2003-04-04 and it works fine with my Audigy 2. The current CVS works too but except 5.1 playback. Then, alsa mixer is VERY illogical. Here are some advices: - Analog Output Jack must be on (it's on by default) - Master works only for analog inputs - Line input is adjusted by RCA SPDIF - MIDI volume is controlled by Music control - 5.1 playback is controlled by Surround, Center, LFE and Wave - wav and mp3 playback is controlled by Wave, Wave Center, Wave Surround and Wave LFE. - Digital CD connection is controlled by Audigy CD control - Analog CD connection is controlled by CD control I still do not know what are the various PCMs for. I any case you have to fiddle with the mixer a while. See also "My experiences with Audigy 2" thread in this mailing list. As far as I know, there is no Audigy2 HOWTO. I hope this helps you. Let me know results. PS: No problem with your English - I can understand what you are asking and that is what counts. Best regards, Ing. Jozef Sakalos jsa...@bi...
