*runs around screaming its gone its gone* ....ok im using msvc 6.0 ... and im trying to use my precious ...life giving ...sscanf function. Does anyone know if theres a string calss equivalent to sscanf .... or whatnot because This is my baby and i need it, i cant live without it! *sorrys its 1 am im tired* But ya is their a string version of sscanf or c++ version ? ive tried my poor guy ...and im using it like ...hrmm as follows. sscanf(data,"%d,%d,%d",row[0],row[1],row[2]); Just make believe theres actually a line in data :) ....now below is what happens when i run my program, It tells me that a debug assertion failure has commenced, and this convulted horse shmuck. File: sscanf.c Line: 66 Expression: string != NULL for information on how your program can cause an assertion failure, see the Visual c++ documentation on asserts. Anyways yes, if anyone would be so nice as to pitty me/help me out with this question since i sound like the village idiot, please, please let me know :) thanks! Btw it compiles perfect :) its when i call the function that uses scanf is when it goes boom _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp |
