I'm trying to find a way to play flic files until I can use a better type of
but have come across 2 problems (bugs?).
This is on the latest WIP on Win2k but I seem to remember it happening last
I tried to get it working on a much older WIP under win95.
1) There seems to be something wrong with the timer controlling the
managed to get it working once, but behavior is intermitant, and
to be linked with my attempts to get it working. What happens? Well
animation is freezed at the start for a few seconds, then proceeds at
a very low
2) There is a load of messy corruption that fades away as the animation
I suspect it is somehow linked with transparency and the non-clearing
sort of bitmap involved behind-the-scenes.
Also, Allegro crashed when I tried to play a .flc file (as opposed to .fli).
