#26 problem with brazilian keyboard layout

Using Brasil ABNT keyboard layout, when I press any accent key (e.g., ~ ¨ ´), I get it twice (e.g., ~~ ¨¨ ´´). Normal behaviour is pressing accent key and then the letter key I get the accented letter (e.g. ã ü é). That doesn't happen with US International keyboard layout.
