Desktop Sync On-premise preview version released

The Alfresco Desktop Sync application is available for early preview so we can get feedback and improve it before making a full release. This version works against Alfresco on premise only: Enterprise 4.0+, and Community 4.2.a+.

New Alfresco Community 4.2: Built to Share

Today is a great day for the entire Alfresco community because 4.2.a is out!

This is the first new release of Community Edition since the 4.0 Community Edition and it includes features brought forward from Alfresco in the cloud as well as new features that will be showing up in the next Enterprise release.

Desktop Sync - Early Preview

The Alfresco Desktop Sync application is available for early preview so we can get feedback and improve it before making a full release. This version works against user accounts in Alfresco in the Cloud (Premium accounts), Enterprise 4.0+, and Community 4.0.e+. It may also work against Enterprise 3.4+ but this has not been tested widely to date.

Alfresco Community 4.0.e released

Alfresco Community Edition 4.0.e is the exact same release as Alfresco Community Edition 4.0.d, except that 4.0.e includes a new default SOLR SSL certificate.

Alfresco Labs 3 Beta 1 Released

Alfresco has just released the beta version of Alfresco Labs 3. This version includes Microsoft SharePoint compatibility, the new REST-based and component-oriented Surf platform integrating the YUI Ajax lib, and a preview of the Alfresco Share collaborative web application with social networking capabilities.
