Many file release notes of many projects shows only
garbage,
because you have implemented escaping of HTML relevant
characters. Many projects have used HTML in release notes
to show nicely formatted release notes and change
lists. This
feature worked for over two years and was now disabled
silently.

Why and when was this major feature disabled?
Why projects administrators was not informed from this
change? How should they now show nice looking release
notes?

Please restore the very usefull old behaviour or
implement an
option to disable character escaping. Thank you!

    Greetings,

HTML was never intended to work in the release notes (the
fact that it worked was a bug in and of itself). You should
release anything HTML encoded in the DocManager or
project-web and re-direct your users to the document there
    in the text release notes.

Should you require further assistance, please submit a new
    Support Request.

    Thank you,
