I'm the head developer on a small project I just
moved here named AutoAlien... The reason for my
coming here was for your MySQL database services...

I've used it lightly, but am a novice at it and was
simply wondering if the following was possible
through your site:

I need to setup a database that can be queried by the
program I am writing... Reading through your site, I
see you say that the databases here are only
accessible using PHP scipts hosted on your site - Is
this correct?

Please get back to me at your earliest convenience,
and thanks for the wonderful project you guys are
running.

-Brian

    Greetings,

SourceForge.net hosted MySQL project databases may be
accessed only from the SourceForge.net site; we support
numerous scripting languages for this purpose (including
PHP, perl and python), and provide access to the MySQL
monitor ('mysql') on the project shell servers. We do not
permit access to project databases from hosts other than
those on the SourceForge.net project server network. Should
you have further questions or concerns regarding this
matter, please submit a new support request.

    Thank you,

    Jacob Moorman
