Not at the moment without manually changing it in the source code. At
some point, we are going to make those colors customizable.

Awesome. For what it's worth, Kmail handles this nicely -- the "unread"
message column simply follows the KDE color scheme. I don't know if others
have a particular preference, but following that method (column one for feed,
column two for # of new messages) would make things more consistent across
Kontact (not to mention more readable on "different" themes). Kmail also has
a rather extensive color selection ("appearance") area... maybe some of that
could be reused in Akregator?
The only other thing I can think of for fixing the color issue would be to
make the new/unread colors simply use part of the color scheme to decide
their color. Maybe the link/visited link colors? Only reason I suggest that
is because I'm guessing no one really wants to add a full-on color selector
-- it seems like an 'excessive' option, despite how much I'd like it. :)
(as a sidenote, the colors issue is really the only thing that really bothers
me about Akregator. On the whole, it's great!)
