A [free|open]BSD port of Air snort would be very nice

the open/free bsd would need the ability to monitor raw 802.11 frames like the linux driver can
I believe they have it working for freebsd, but not open

FreeBSDs wi driver can be tricked into passing raw packets.
    See http://www.wastelands.gen.nz/wireless for details.

Currently I am looking at porting the code to several
different OS'es. FreeBSD will be an easier port than
OpenBSD and that may come first.

I agree, i would love to see this. The best part about this
would be the ability to 'just install it and use it' and not have
to fight with dependency issues a la linux.
