I'm current running a large wireless network, around 200 connection. All
outdoors connection, some from 500 m to 6 km.
But what I discover after working with new connection with wgb340 is that
its very, very poor connection compared to bre340.
I installed a connection where its about 3.5 km away from the access
point. The radio unit was a wgb340 that connect to a bre340 that stands in
The test of this: Unicast test: 130% retries
Multicast test: 40% retries
This is very poor, not good enough to have a stable 11mbit link.
Then I changed the wgb340 to a bre340. Put the bre340 in client mode,
and the power level down to 30. So I would get the same configuration as

Unicast : 2 % retries
Multicast: 0 % retries
Even that when a bre in client mode is connected to a bre in
access mode, they still act as they where in bridge mode. This is the only
difference in the connection, but ->
