I've previously reported here that the Linksys WAP11 in
"access point client" mode will associate with a Cisco 352 AP
when I put all the computers behind a Linksys router/firewall,
with the MAC address cloned to match the WAP11.
I'd tried this with a single WAP11 and firewall. Today I
tried it with a second. They can each associate and authenticate,
but as soon as the second sends any IP traffic and the Cisco's
log shows the IP address as well as the MAC address, then
the Cisco reboots!
A few moments later, the process repeats itself. Any ideas?
As I watch the logs on the AP while this happens, once in a
while I'd see the IP address of the firewall revert to the IP
address of the WAP11. Might this have something to do with it?
