I'm trying to use an Aironet LM4800 pcmcia card.I am running version
3.1.10 of the pcmcia package on Debian Linux , kernel 2.2.17. I'm using
the older pcmcia package because I also have a Xircom Realport2 ethernet
card which runs badly or not at all on the latest pcmcia-cs package. It
runs just fine on 3.1.10.
I have compiled the aironet module from source and added the recommended
lines to etc/pcmcia/config.
dump-cis shows the card in place but it doesn't get activated, i.e I get
the error message: "cs: socket 1 timed out during reset" on boot-up.
This is the first time I've tried to use a wireless card and don't have
much of a clue what to do next.
Any help appreciated.

Running a 2.2.5 Kernel (caldera OpenLinux2.3) with a 4800 PCI aironet card.
Older driver compile fine but when trying to set the NodeName the system
crash . (Sorry I don't have the exact message with me here)
And there is too many compile errors with the newer airo.c to list them..
Any ideas , does anyone else had the same kind of problems ?
