The Air install went fine but typing Air on the command line doesn't run the program. It says the command is not found.
I'm using the latest version of Ubuntu.
Make sure you have Perl installed. Then verify that there were no error messages in the install log. Right now the installer isn't smart and doesn't detect compile errors for Perl/Tk and can appear to install successfully when, in fact, it didn't.
Also, make sure that /usr/local/bin is in your $PATH.
try installing as root user .. I encountered the same problem just got through
