Hi Rene and everyone interested, I tried out your recipe (I'm running on a gentoo box here), unpacking the=20 source rpm and installing it by hand was no problem, so thank you here. Bu= t=20 I can't confirm that it works in X now, at least pressure sensitivity doesn= 't=20 seem to be reported yet (it won't do with the gimp, which at least recogniz= es=20 that there IS a new input device). Also, I don't see any differences=20 between "your" 1.0.1 version and the one shipped with gentoo already -- may= be=20 it's simply the same? You proposed the following xorg.conf lines, which didn't work out here: > Relevant pieces of my xorg configuration (/etc/X11/xorg.conf): > > Section "InputDevice" > Identifier "Mouse0" > Driver "mouse" > Option "Protocol" "IMPS/2" > # VERY IMPORTANT. Do not use /dev/input/mice here > # since then you will be getting tablet input 2x > Option "Device" "/dev/input/mouse0" > Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" > EndSection I still use "/dev/input/mice" here, because otherwise the cursor won't move= at=20 all with the tablet stylus, it won't react on clicks/ pressure either. Maybe this helps... Greetings, Daniel |
