Hello Hannes, Thanks a lot for your work the past weeks. I've been reading the commits with interest. :-) On Sun, 25 Jul 2010 16:14:01 +0200, Hannes von Haugwitz <ha...@vo...> wrote: > Today I've finished the core development for aide 0.15. > > I'd solely like to add the following changes: > > 1. I'll have a look at that later, but if grep can't find a reference I'm sure we can remove it. > The psql option is currently out of date and some attributes are not > supported or buggy. A rewrite is planned for aide 0.16. Cool, thanks. > What is the status of the daily git snapshots? Are they already working? Yes, they are working. They are still called CVS snapshots, mainly because Rami also needs to update his web site which has a direct link to the tar.gz file. > What about to change the m4 version string for such git snapshots to > something like post-0.14.2-git<COMMIT-ID>? Good idea. I'll have to add this to my snapshot script. Richard |

I committed patches for 1 and 2. However the rule documentation needs a complete rewrite (planned for aide >0.15). Richard, you can release aide 0.15-rc1 now. The copyright statements in the include/* and source/* files are much outdated. I'll update them (based on the author name and author date information in the git) before the final release of aide 0.15. >> Furthermore it seems that the compare_db function in src/compare_db.c is >> not called at all. I've removed the compare_db function. In case of doubt we can revert the change. >> What about to change the m4 version string for such git snapshots to >> something like post-0.14.2-git<COMMIT-ID>? > > Good idea. I'll have to add this to my snapshot script. What about to push the snapshot script to the git? Regards Hannes |

Rami: are you able to change the snapshot link on http://www.cs.tut.fi/~rammer/aide.html from http://aide.sourceforge.net/aide-CVS-snapshot.tar.gz to http://aide.sourceforge.net/aide-git-snapshot.tar.gz ? Regards, Richard |
