We have over 100 boxes and I want to know if I should run --check and
--init everyday or is there a undocumented switch I can do to run this
here is the logic.
say i init a db on monday. then I run a check everyday,
Tuesday a admin updated a host file. and this host file will report every
day until another init is done.

The way the Debian package of aide deals with this is to run --update
everyday. Effectively, --update reports on changes AND creates a new
database. It is recommended to only install the new database as the
active database after manual verification, but you are free to make this
an automated process.
