Can this be used with VB.net?
If so how?
The SqlDataAdapter is for SQL Server. SQLite's ADO.NET wrapper has a SQLiteDataAdapter. Download the binaries from this website, go into your VB.NET program, right-click the project and Add Reference. Browse for the SQLite.NET.DLL and add it.
Thanks for the reply. Excuse my poor spelling. I didn't expect anyone to get back to me.
I have done as you said. When I create a new SQLiteDataAdapator I get the following error on build:
Reference required to assembly 'System.Data.Common' containing the base class 'System.Data.Common.DbDataAdapter'. Add one to your project.
Now if I add a reference to System.Data.Common, I get the following error on build:
Unable to load DLL (coredll)
I can't understand it or find any information on the problem!
coredll is for the Compact Framework. Perhaps we should start with the basic question:
Are you writing for the Compact Framework or for the desktop (Full Framework) ?
Sorry Robert and thanks for your time.
I was using the wrong dll!!!
