You've done a great work to help with debugging, and I see how these features will help all developers with broken SQL and other issues (it has already been my case!).

However, in production websites the only useful debug information is the error message, here in the Drake CMS project we would like to disable the debug code (the code which counts the query time, number of queries etc.) to achieve higher speed with all the drivers.

If the language were C, but this is PHP, I would have asked to put conditional defines, but we know this is not possible.

So in this request I am asking you to put some parseable comments like:

/* ADODB_LITE DEBUG BEGINS */

... some PHP code which can be omitted if debug is not wanted ...

/* ADODB_LITE DEBUG ENDS */

And then we might use a script to disable such code when not needed.
