Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: David Pennington (xeoncross) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Set database port number Initial Comment: I generally need to connect to databases on servers and VPS, so I use ssh tunneling with port-forwarding to assign something like 4444 on my computer to the MySQL 3306 on the server. That way I don't have to install anything on the server. Anyway, there doesn't seem to be an option for specifying a port number - it just assumes the default port. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Paul (turbopt) Date: 2012-05-22 18:45 Message: Hovering over the server field on the login page, in the tip that appears it seems that a port can be specified. Is that what you need? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=1127745&aid=3528921&group_id=264133 |
